charles i. letbetter has been a professional photographer for over 35 years, longer than most of his subjects have been alive. He has a unique sense of time and space and how different aspects of life merge in forming a reality that extends beyond the range of human visibility. He uses big words. His ideas are even bigger.
One should also know that charles is an accomplished musician and widely-published author. Rarely do either of those directly intersect with his photography but they do influence his perspective. charles is also the father of three, step-father of two, and wrangler of any number of pets.
charles has won awards. Most recently he won the People’s Choice Award at the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival in 2019. He exhibits both locally and nationally. His work begins in classic styles and extends frequently to experimental processes.
Kat Franson is an Aveda-trained Master Stylist at Biz on Fletcher and handles the hair and makeup for charles’ more advanced concepts. Her non-binary perspective brings much-needed balance to charles’ concepts. Her creative vision is contemporary and colorful. Her skill exceeds her age.
An Indianapolis native, Kat is a U.S. Marine, the mother of two, and the cat whisperer over all the felines roaming her house. She cares passionately about human and animal rights and has been known to rescue homeless beings regardless of their species.
Kat’s popularity at Biz on Fletcher prevents her from being available on every project charles begins. charles consults Kat frequently on all projects, but models wishing to engage her services are encouraged to book such through the salon.
We love hearing nice comments, requests for photography, questions about our photography, and pleasant conversation.
