Like most photographers, I focus on taking pictures of other people, not myself. So, when the request for a headshot came from a publisher this week, I looked in my files and discovered I hadn’t taken one in a couple of years. Obviously, I’ve changed a little. Lines are deeper, a few more grey hairs, that sort of thing. So, Kat gave me a fresh haircut and then we took a handful of pictures.
The problem is, neither of us is terribly objective. I like the black-and-white images. She likes the ones with the kitten. Which should we send the publisher?
We decided the best way to work this out is to let you decide. I’ll post all the choices below and you vote in the comments which image you like best. Your decision is the one I’ll send to the publisher, and probably use elsewhere around the Internet as well.
