A brief shower prompts a stroll through the yard
There were maybe 90 minutes this morning where the sunlight was perfect. The light coming from the East, reflecting off the soft gray clouds in the West, would have been perfect had someone, anyone, been willing to get up with me. No one was. A light shower moved through around 8:30 that lasted approximately five minutes, short and light enough that the dusty ground in the yard showed no sign of being damp. The only remnant of the rain were the drops left on leaves and the fence. I gave thought to getting out the camera and using the long lens to capture some of the detail, but then I remembered that my phone in Pro mode takes images at 108 megapixels. So, I pulled the phone from my back pocket and walked around the yard. These are the results. I’ll find pictures to take. They’ll be good. But always remember, it could have been you.
